It's all over. Easter, the Easter bank holiday, the Royal Wedding bank holiday and the May Day bank holiday, they've all passed and we're back to the normal 5 day working week.
How depressing! So now, to combat the gloom I'm researching summer holidays. A bit last minute I know, I didn't think I'd be able to afford anything to be honest, but life's too short, and it's for the living!
I've been pretty careful with my wages recently, paying off debts and saving bits and bobs when I could into a savings account, and I've been a bit geeky researching things online and using things like uSwitch to get the best utilities prices. Every little helps!
And now, in geek stealth mode I'm using travel comparison sites to find a nice getaway - I'm thinking stateside, maybe New York or LA, any recommendations?
